Our Headquarters in Langen

Sustainability at the Heart of the Planning Process

Innovative Office Space

Our head office in Langen is future-oriented and designed according to open office concepts. The classicist façade with its floor-to-ceiling windows and 60% glass proportion guarantees optimal lighting conditions inside. Friendly, bright colors combined with natural materials such as wood create a pleasant atmosphere. Various communication zones adapt to the needs of the employees.

Waste Water & Emissions

Waste water is channelled into a rainwater retention basin thanks to sedimentation. The ventilation system works with heat recovery, which minimizes the consumption of resources.

Sustainable Landscaping

A comprehensive landscaping and watering concept ensures that our plants and trees can survive even in very hot summers like 2019. The landscaping covers 20% of the entire site, providing habitat for native wildlife and contributing to the greening of the entire area. The planted tree and shrub species are attractive all year round - in autumn, for example, our maples display a firework display of autumn colors and Indian summer.

Building Climate

To minimize heat loss, the building climate can be controlled centrally. Not only do we have a heating system, we now also have an automatic air cooling system for hotter summers. This makes it easy to work with us in any climate.

Parking Spaces

There are plenty of parking spaces and more than 50 bicycle stands for employees and visitors. Additionally, there are two charging stations for electric cars on the premises, such as the company's own “Smart electric”, which can be used for short distances, e.g. to the post office. Further charging stations for electric bicycles can be installed at any time.

Production Building

Energy consumption and emissions from production are measured separately. This enables constant monitoring and continuous improvement of resource consumption. The planned waste and waste water concept ensures safe production processes in which the few pollutants are handled separately and are unable to harm the environment.

Cogeneration Unit

The building is heated by a sustainable combined heat and power plant that works on the principle of cogeneration. The waste heat from power generation is used directly on site.

Top Quality Is Our Benchmark

Certified Quality

Our benchmark is top quality. From engineering and design to manufacturing and product support, we never compromise on standards. ERWEKA stands for highest product quality, attractive design and individual customer support. This is practiced through a clear commitment to ISO certification, which we have received since 1996 with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. We are clearly committed to protecting the environment and improving our environmental performance. All materials we use are high in quality, low in maintenance and long-lasting. Suppliers are selected according to strict guidelines and all external parts are subject to additional testing by us. This guarantees that all mechanical parts are sturdy and robust and ensures the measurement accuracy and product longevity.

Product longevity

Our own quality requirements well exceed the legal stipulations. That‘s what defines the ERWEKA standard! Our product series are planned on a long-term basis; our long-term planning guarantees that we release technically mature and thoroughly tested products to the market.
